Cattleya (Laelia) purpurata var. carnea

Cattleya (C.) purpurata var. carnea formerly known as Laelia purpurata var. carnea is a fabulous color form of this Brazilian species. The flowers from this variety are white with a saturated red to dark pink (carnea) lip. This species has sweetly fragrant flowers that are six to eight inches across. Absolutely stunning!
