(Syn Cattleya tigrina) Brazilian species. The plant produces clusters of fragrant, long-lasting flowers that are extremely dark mahogany with darker burgundy spots. Mature plants should produce heads of flowers with up to thirty 4” flowers. Very showy! This is a sib crossing with the pollen parent 'San Bar Giant' being the recipient of the highest American Orchid Society award FCC/AOS which has larger flowers than typical for this species.
