This is a selfing of an exceptional example of this species native to Colombia and Venezuela. The awarded mother plant produces flowers that are particularly large for this species that are crystalline light lavender with slight striations and a very showy ruffled lip that has a much darker touch of rose-lavender and a dark yellow throat. With such a stunning parent, we expect to see some of these award-winning traits carried on to its offspring.
