(syn. Rhyncolaelia glauca) is a species from Mexico and Honduras. The nighttime fragrant waxy flowers are white to a pale green with a white to creamy lip with a very dark purple spot in the throat. It is a hardy plant and easy to grow, albeit a somewhat slow grower, and likes to be dry and in bright light.

The flower picture is from the 'Cotton-Eyed JO' mother plant.

(Blooming size.)
