BLC. Pink Flame

(BLC. Haleakala Sunrise x L. praestans)

Laelia praestans (also known as Cattleya praestans) is one of the hadrolaelia compact species from Brazil, similar to Laelia pumila, and rarely grows above 5” tall. The delicate full-shaped 4 to 4½” flowers have a soft rose-lavender color. BLC. Haleakala Sunrise is a full-sized cattleya with large pink flowers and large bright yellow eyes in the lip. We expect this hybrid to produce pink to lavender large flowers on a mid-sized compact plant.
