The Paphiopedilum armeniacum flower art is two layers of wood - walnut and basswood - mounted in a walnut-colored shadowbox that perfectly accents the art piece. The frame measures 9" x 9" x 2 3/8". Paphiopedilum armeniacum is an orchid species native to the Yunnan province of China and is found growing on limestone cliffsides. The vivid yellow flowers have a large "ladyslipper" pouch.
